About Us

The aim of Coláiste Cill Chartha is to instill a love of the Irish Language in its students.

Gaeilge is one of the oldest languages in the world. There are over 6,000 languages spoken in the world and it is expected that only 10% of these will survive by the end of this century. We are depending on our young students to pass on our language to future generations.

Seo Coláiste Gaeilge nua i timpeallacht shábhailte. Tá sé d'aidhm againn grá do'n teanga a chothú i measc ár scoláirí.

Is í an Ghaeilge ceann de na teangacha is sine sa domhain. Tá thar 6,000 teanga á labhairt sa domhan í láthair na huaire agus táthar ag tuar nach mbeidh fágtha ach 10% ag deireadh an chéid seo. Tá muid ag brath ar an aos óg ar dteanga a thabhairt do na glúnta atá le teacht.
